Fall into Autumn with our new Semi-Stacked Cage Creation!

You asked, we listened. We've received many requests for stacked cages over the years, so we took to the challenge of showcasing one that is stylish, sturdy and easy to clean. We think you'll agree that our latest creation is the perfect space-saving solution for separated groups.

A Sturdy and Accessible Option for Divided Groups

This semi-stacked cage is great for housing separated groups when space is an issue, and features TWO stacked Small (2x3 grid) Cages. Piggies on the lower level will enjoy the view from our Lookout Lounge, while piggies on the upper level can take in the scenary from their own Piggy Patio. Both groups will enjoy dining in our Cavy Cafe kitchen areas. We also included our Hearty Hay Barn and featured cozy Autumn accessories from Guinea Pig Market.

This cage is recommended for 1-2 female guinea pigs per level. For 2 males per level, we recommend the Large or XL cage size.

Hello, I'm very new to this kind of home for my piggies, the Autumn one, is there away to have it all connect, two levels, instead of two separate levels ? Robyn ??

Not at this time. If you have one group of pigs there are better ways to go. The Roomie Zoomie with a Lookout Lounge is a great way. Like this one: https://www.cagetopia.com/leap-into-spring. This is a good way too: https://www.cagetopia.com/tea-party

Can this cage be completely enclosed on all sides and be put on a stand?

Realistically? No. It would be too tall. You could not get to the top. Each level is about 15". By adding a stand, that puts this setup at 4.5 levels or 67" or 5 1/2 feet tall. Too unwieldy and difficult.

Is there a way to make this into two medium cages and cover them as well? I have a cat that I don't want disturbing my piggies.

Possible, but you'd need to add a Support Rod for the longer span, similar to how we show in the Suite Spinkles cage setup: https://www.cagetopia.com/suite-sprinkles. And Swing Grids for a front drop-down like we show in that one as well.

Hi - I am trying to decide between this set up and the Suite Sprinkles set up for a medium size cage. Can I do this set up with having the stand underneath? I currently own the medium cage and the stand for it. I like that this style is more open versus the Suite Sprinkles set up and am thinking it would be easier to clean. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

If by "more open," you mean this version uses the full standard grid in between levels versus the shorter half grids, yes, you swap out these for those. And if you do that, you wouldn't want to put it on a cage stand as it would end up being too tall. The only thing to consider is that on the other version, the swing down grids have some room to swing down. You wouldn't really want to use the Swing Down front if the cage is on floor, as they'd just be in the way and not really serve a functional purpose to have them on the bottom cage. But the rest is possible.

Hello. Can I use tall half grids instead of standard grids for the middle part? And make the bottom grids swing grids for easy cleaning access? I would use half tall grids to make a stand instead of the regular grids as well.

Yes, that would work.

Can you put swing grids instead for the bottom layer?

Not if you have a Lookout Lounge. That needs the grid next to it and good support for strength there. If you didn't have the Lookout Lounge, I still think it's iffy and questionable. Rectangular strength overall is needed for the upper-level support. You could maybe do two Vertical Skinny Grids on the end and overlap and do Half Grids along the bottom to help keep structural support and provide more access.
