This is the recommended cage size for 2 females and the minimum size for 2 males.
You can start with this cage size and expand later as needed or add-on with more levels as you desire.

STARTER KITs Include:

  • Cavy Cafe kitchen insert is their litter and hay-munching area.

SAFEST C&C CAGE COVERS ON THE MARKET!

Nobody gets guinea pigs like CAGETOPIA gets guinea pigs! Just like we invented C&C Cages in the first place decades ago, our innovations are "guinea pig-tested" and "guinea pig-approved" with YEARS of vetting by YOU -- the experts. We do what's right for safety, ease of use, and quality that lasts. Most other covers on the market will NOT withstand a big, fat cat jumping up onto the cage to hang out and enjoy the piggy show. No cover that is a basic 2 grids by 4 grids is anywhere close to safe enough. 

We overlap the grids for safety AND you can adjust them as needed for even more coverage depending on your own circumstances and configuration. We use very strong, adjustable, high-quality steel rods for our hinge backbone that we have manufactured to our specifications -- no skimping on make-do solutions for looks. They provide great strength where it's needed -- in the middle of the cage. Yet sleek and unobtrusive, matching your grids while still being lightweight enough to maneuver the cover with ease into its many possible positions -- simple ease of use and flexible, quick access to your guinea pigs. No big cover to come crashing down on you. No huge cover to lean against your wall.

  • Flip it the front half onto the back half -- easy, out of the way -- easy reach to the back section of the cage.
  • Tent it up, exposing the full front half -- push the front half to rest behind the connector.
  • Push the tent all the way back, exposing the whole cage -- still without having the cover looming above you.
  • Fold the cover back behind the wall (if you have the clearance).
  • Easy, quick, one-handed operation (while your other has a piggy or food!)
